My name is Nadeem Salman, and I am a pharmacist and research analyst at the Pharmaceutical Research Center at Zarqa University in Jordan. I hold a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and have been working in pharmaceutical analytical research for several years, with a particular focus on developing and validating LC–MS/MS methods for detecting and quantifying nitrosamine impurities in drug substances and pharmaceutical products. My work has involved several nitrosamine-related projects, including analytical method development, optimization, risk assessment support, and troubleshooting complex pharmaceutical matrices. I am pleased to join the USP Nitrosamines Exchange Community and look forward to sharing experiences, learning from other professionals, and contributing to the development of effective and scientifically sound practices for nitrosamine analysis and risk assessment.
