I am a Senior Consultant and Director at ToxMinds with about 15 years of research and consulting experience in human health and environmental risk assessment of chemicals, cosmetics, and consumer products. I am a Eurotox Registered Toxicologist (ERT) with an academic background in Pharmacology from IIT BHU.

I have extensive experience in preparing critical reviews and (eco)toxicological assessments of substances in different sectors such as chemicals, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals, including safe level derivations such as DNELs, PNECs, PDEs MoE/MoS calculations, as well as performing lifetime cancer risk calculations using T25 or BMDL10 values. At the regulatory level, I also have significant expertise in EU REACH, Biocidal Products Regulation, classification and labelling, and cosmetic regulations. Specifically, in the Pharmaceutical sector, I have substantial experience in conducting the toxicological evaluation of impurities, including nitrosamines, extractables and leachables and deriving permissible daily exposure (PDE) or acceptable intake (AI) levels using read across or surrogate data.

Key interest areas are: Alternative approaches or new approach methodologies (NAMs), including in vitro, high throughput assays, in silico/QSAR, read across/analogue-based approaches, nitrosamines, PDE/OELs, cosmetic hazard assessments.
