I am a 30-year veteran of the workforce with a career spanning food, feed, fuel and pharma. My years are distributed almost evenly between chemical analysis with a focus on chromatography; systems approach to quality and food safety management with emphasis on continuous improvement; and commercial management including market analysis, strategic planning, and both domestic and international trade. I hold a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology and a master’s degree in business administration, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and my wife and I share 5 children and 2 grandchildren among us. I have been working as a full-time consultant in my own company for 2 years and expect to continue growing this business for the foreseeable future!
