The pitfalls of Nitrosamines are many. I personally think MOST of the early Nitrosamine work (before ~1975) is actually erroneous given their conditions which may increase the nitrosamines. Even today you can find some remarkably high results, here is one published example that reported on Ranitidine and then realized that their analytical had made artificially HIGH results. Apparently there is a lawyer’s office that is used the artificially high results in a lawsuit…
