Does anyone have any data on the phototoxicity of heterogeneous nitrosamines in drugs? There is evidence for nitrosomorpholine being photo carcinogenic without metabolic activation !
Probably also NDMA , as well as other nitrosamines have phototoxic/photocarcinogenic effects ?
Confirmatory phototoxicity/photocarcinogenicity tests would be a more than adequate explanation for the link between nitrosamine contaminated drug intake and skin cancer generation!
Clinical data / our data / for years , are indicative of just that!
