If the same fragmentation pattern is consistently obtained, then this procedure—or a modified version—could be used as a quick screening or qualitative test when no standard of the NDSRI is available. I’ll keep this in mind and consider using it if such a case arises. Nevertheless, it’s an interesting article and definitely worth the read.
