You can easily get calculation results by inputting various information about your tablets into the tool, such as tablet weight, conversion percentage, molecular weight of contaminated nitrosamine, and the amount of excipients formulated. DFE has ‘‘transformed’’ the excel from the above paper to a very nice and friendly tool for nitrosamine risk assessments.
For your information, in one of our cases the theoritical calculation from this platform, using a conversation percentage of 29%, was about 95% close to the final nitrosamine level we found experimentally !!
