Exciting Update: Nitrosamines Exchange (and Sister Communities) is Moving to the Brand-New USP Knowledge Exchange!
Dear Community Members,
As I shared with you a few weeks ago, given the incredible success and vibrant engagement of our Nitrosamine community, we are moving to a brand-new home!
On October 19th, the Nitrosamines Exchange—alongside our sister communities, the MAM Exchange and qNMR Exchange—will be going on a temporary pause as we officially transition to our next chapter: the brand-new USP Knowledge Exchange.
A Unified knowledge home Under One Roof
The USP Knowledge Exchange will be home not just for nitrosamines, but for a diverse range of topics covering compendial, non-compendial, technology, innovation, transformation, and more. Now, you will be able to connect and collaborate with colleagues from other areas of expertise and USP scientists all under one roof.
While we are keeping a clear, distinct line between USP compendial official standard-setting processes and procedures, I believe this new community will become a vibrant, dynamic ecosystem of countless interactions covering information, implementation, and comprehensive engagements. This evolution gives us the opportunity to foster a more transformational type of engagement for everyone involved.
Important: Upgrading Your Access via USP Access Point
Following October 20th, you will receive an invitation email from me to join the new community.
To tighten up security and enhance your overall USP experience, we are migrating to a single sign-on system known as USP Access Point. Think of this as your master key to access existing and future resources, subscriptions, and USP compendia.
-
Already a USP-NF user? If you are a USP-NF user, you are already familiar with this authentication system and won’t need to register from scratch.
-
New to Access Point? If not, you will need to create a new account to access the new USP Knowledge Exchange.
While the community will remain open, I highly recommend you create an account. We will be bringing you exclusive content, expert conversations, regulatory interviews, and other resources that require a login to access. Most importantly, you won’t want to miss the bi-weekly digest email that we send with the most up-to-date information on the community!
(Note: A short video will be posted in the community to guide you step-by-step through the process of creating your account.)
Exciting New Features: Global Translation & AI Assistance
For our international audiences, I am so excited to introduce the new translation feature built directly into the community. You will be able to get translations of 100% of the community’s content, and I hope you warmly welcome this feature to break down language barriers.
Additionally, to help you find answers faster and smarter, several new platform features are assisted by cutting-edge AI models supporting enhanced searches, posting workflows, and smart summaries.
Timeline & What Happens Next
-
October 19th: The current Nitrosamines, MAM, and qNMR Exchange platforms will pause as we migrate data and finalize our setup.

October 20th: You will receive your invitation email from me with your link to join the new platform via USP Access Point
We cannot wait to welcome you into this expanded and roomy space and continue driving scientific excellence together. Thank you for making our community the vibrant success it is today. Stay tuned for your invitation next week!
Warm regards,
Naiffer Romero
