Frequently when researching nitrosamines I will come across articles or issues for drug substances that I don’t know about - I delve into them, to look at the structures, limits, testing etc. to see if there is anything that I can learn and apply to other molecules.
Today I came across a new one - Nostertamine on the following website

Now this is a new one to me - a website about a nitrosamine that doesn’t exist - it all seems to be AI generated. To anyone not in the know it would seem legit, there’s plenty of science sounding stuff included - but it just didn’t read and flow right, or explain where this nitrosamine was coming from. A Google search for Nostertamine reveals almost nothing, other than this one site.
I have to wonder - why??
